Cadiz CF April 4, 18:30 PM Valencia CF
After last matchday there was a two week break in club football as world cup qualifications were under way with Valencia CF having 6 players who went on represent their countries. I reported on those players and their performances in this article so you can go on there and read more about how our players did.
I don't know if this break would help the team or not, because I thought we were in good form and really liked the way Valencia CF played against Granada, so I'm afraid this two week pause might have stunted that form. We also had Cillessen get injured so a blow to our squad, but Jaume has been fairly decent and against Cadiz I'm not too worried about the goalkeeping position.
Uros Racic also got his first match for Serbia in which he played quite well, so a nice morale booster for him and should be bringing that enthusiasm to the team as well.
There are quite a lot of positives to take from last match against Granada, the team played really well, combined good, attacked in numbers and created plenty of good opportunities, something that has been a real struggle for this team this season, with the one negative to takeaway is the missed chances. Valencia CF could have easily killed off the match early in the second half, it could have easily been 3-0 or even more, but several key misses and they almost gave Granada a way back into the match, that would have been devastating.
Cadiz CF are in worse form coming to this match, they are coming off of a loss to Villarreal and their last 6 matches have been 3 loses, 2 draws and only 1 win. They've also been struggling scoring goals and have only managed 6 goals in their last 6 matches, though defensively they've been decent, nothing special, but they haven't been leaking too much goals overall, they even managed a 1-1 draw draw with Barcelona several matches back.

Think Valencia CF is going to be able to edge Cadiz here, the team is in good form and we have players who are returning from international duty with solid performances, so I'm expecting the team to be able to score two goals, but of course I'm not too confident we won't make a defensive blunder and give Cadiz a goal, making things harder for us.
