Finally a win and a hard fought and well deserved one by the number of chances Valencia CF had. Like most of our matches this season it looked like a lost cause as Celta Vigo scored a goal late in the first half, while Valencia CF kept on missing chances and wasting opportunities.
Thankfully Valencia CF came stronger in the second half and was finally able to realize its chances and score two goals. The difference makers were the two substitutions, with Ferran Torres scoring a goal and Kevin Gameiro providing an assist to Rodrigo, who finally scored a goal.
It has to be said that Ferran Torres has had two very good games in a row right now, so we obviously have a good cover for the right wing position. Hopefully this urges Soler to step up his game as well, as he's been good overall, but he can be great and provide a lot more.
