Mario Suarez joins Valencia CF on loan

Mario Suarez transfers to Valencia CF on a one year loan deal, with the option to buy the player at the end of the loan deal. He is a player of Watford football club, but he immediately fell out of favor there after the departure of Quique Sanchez Flores and even with him at the helm he had a rough patch and couldn't get used to the faster pace Premier league football.

I guess Valencia CF don't want to take the chance of buying him and ending up with another flop, so a loan deal seems logical. If he plays well and helps the team achieve its goal of avoiding relegation, possibly better, they can activate the purchase clause, if not no harm done and the player returns to Watford.

In case anyone didn't know Mario Suarez is a defensive midfielder, most famous for playing at Atletico Madrid, being one of their better players in fact for 3-4 seasons, before slowly but surely being replaced there as he fell out of favor with Simeone.

He's had two terrible seasons now, one at Fiorentina which was his first destination after Atletico Madrid and later on at Watford where he again failed to establish himself and with the departure of Flores his fate was sealed. He'll be looking to reignite his career at Valencia CF and convince the club to make his stay at Valencia permanent.

If he can rediscover his Atletico Madrid form, he could be useful for us and he also bring in a level of experience that would be good even outside of the pitch.

If Valencia CF keep Paco, keep Mustafi, keep Diego, sell Abdennour and use that money to bring in Raul Albiol this team could yet have a chance for an Europa league spot, rather than a relegation one.
