Pablo Piatti loaned to RCD Espanyol

Valencia CF have reached an agreement with RCD Espanyol to loan out Pablo Piatti for one year with an option to buy at the end of the loan deal.

Pablo Piatti was one of the several players that Valencia CF wanted to get rid of after poor performances from last season, so while they couldn't sell the player to any club, this is the next best solution.
Ultimately he's always performed hot and cold, so ultimately he failed to find consistency in his performance and this cost him.

Valencia CF was looking to bring Filip Kostic from Stuttgart, but their unrealistic high price for the player put a dampener on  potential deal. Right now the coaching staff and sporting director are re-evaluating if Rodrigo De Paul should be kept and used on the left wing along with either Mina or Fede.

Since Nani arrived as the first reinforcement this season and he is most likely going to play on the left wing, probably cutting in frequently as an additional striker, only the left wing is open and there are 3 players vying for that position right now, Santi Mina, Fede and De Paul.
