Valencia CF reach agreement for Alvaro Negredo

Valencia CF have reportedly reached an agreement for 29 year old Manchester City striker Alvaro Negredo. All that's left is the official confirmation which will probably happen soon as Manchester City are looking to bring in a replacement striker, which looks like it will be Falcao.

The deal appears to be a one year loan with a mandatory purchase option at the end at a value of 25 million euros. Similar type to deal to Yoel Rodriguez. This means that Valencia CF would buy him at the end of the season at a value that is equal to the value with which he was purchased from Sevilla.

Again, this is not official but very likely at this point.

Jonas on the other hand has already said good-bye to his team mates and looks like he will leave via a contract termination.

As for the all important box-to-box midfielder, Valencia CF have entered deep negotiations with Inter Milan for 28 year old Colombian Fredy Guarin. Valencia CF has reportedly had a bid rejected earlier in the transfer window but have come back for him since Enzo Perez didn't work out for them. Valencia CF is trying to get him for 12-15 million euros. That being said, some sources say that the Enzo Perez deal is still on the cards and Benfica are willing to agree to this deal. However, there was no farewell or an emotional sending off in the game he has played today.

Anyways, tomorrow is the last day of the transfer window and everything will be made official by then.

Any thoughts on Negredo? Fredy Guarin vs Enzo Perez?
