Various news from Valencia CF

After the game against Lecce many of the players and the coach gave interviews.
Coach Unai Emery said that the team is improving and getting closer to the form they want to be in when the La Liga starts.

Aritz Aduriz also had similar comment and said he feels like the team has improved and he thinks they can do good this season in all competitions. He is also very happy to have scored in the last two games he played.

Ever Banega said the team has improved a lot in the preseason and he feels the team is ready to start the new season. He also talked about his call-up for Argentina, he said that he was very happy he was called for international duty and that he played a whole 90 minutes and thinks he's shown his worth to the new Argentina coach. When asked about some of the arrivals like Villa, Silva and Marchena, he said that people should let go of the subject and that the club has brought good and ambitious players to cover for the departures.

Valencia president Llorente has informed Mata's Father and the public that negotations over the contract of the player will be held in September and not earlier. He said the club had a lot more important business currently and he didn't like Mata's father forcing the contract issue.

Feghuoli was also interviewed and said the preseason is going well for him and the team. He says his objective was to remain at Valencia and not be loaned out and he is happy he succeed in achieving that objective, his next objective is to work hard and try to get some playing time as a starter.

Roberto Soldado will not start the game against Malaga. Soldado wen't out in the match against Lecce limping, and the worst fears have been confirmed after a medical exam on the player. He has a bad muscle injury and will be out of action for 2 or 3 weeks.
