5th matchday, Copa del Rey
Coaches: Nuno Santos and Paco JemezValencia CF Squad:
Valencia CF will host Rayo Vallecano tomorrow at the Mestalla, the third time these two teams have met, once in the cup, last game in La Liga and tomorrow for the second leg of the cup. Valencia CF is coming to this match with one goal advantage, as the first leg between the teams ended in a 2-1 victory for Valencia CF, but Valencia's team will be further emboldened by the fact that they just beat Rayo Vallecano again, this time in the league by three goals to nil.
Coming with with high confidence into this match is coach Nuno Santos as well, who's opted to rest key players like Otamendi, Gaya and Feghouli for this match, feeling that the team can win either way, especially with 1 goal lead already achieved on away terrain.
Paco Alcacer will be available for selection tomorrow and chances are he is going to start the match, having had to sit out the match in the league due to red card suspension, but will be keep to start tomorrow and score a goal, as the battle for starting position has truly begun, with Negredo being slightly favored so far by coach Nuno Santso. Paco will want to prove that he is in top form once again and no better way than to score at least one goal tomorrow against Rayo.
This will be Valencia's second last match for this year, the club still has to play against Eibar this year and after that there is a short 2 week winter break, before the matches start of again on January 4th 2015. Valencia's technical staff are looking to strengthen the squad this winte, with Peter Lim keen to bring Enzo Perez and Nicolas Gaitan from Benfica, though few other names have been mentioned as well, including Juan Mata, Javier Pastore, Arturo Vidal and few other names.

Valencia CF 1-0 Rayo Vallecano
I'm expecting a small 1-0 victory for Valencia CF. The team just beat Rayo 3-0 in the league, but with a bit weakened squad and possibly quite a bit of changes we are likely to see a more closer match, though I do sure hope the team surprises me and win big.
