Granada vs Valencia CF Match Preview

Granada vs Valencia CF Match Preveiw
Stadium: Los Cármenes, Granada
Date: 07.12.2014, 21:00 CET
14th matchday, La Liga
Coaches: John Purdy and Nuno Santso

Valencia CF managed go achieve a lucky 2-1 win over Rayo Vallecano in the Copa Del Rey and this week they are meeting Granada in the Spanish League. Granada are currently 16th position on the table with only 11 points, just 1 point from the other 4 relegation teams who have 10 points.

The table is actually quite compact, the only team that is really breaking away from the clump is Real Madrid who've been in top form for the past several weeks and are winning games with ease, hopefully though their good form gets to an end by the time they get to play Valencia CF.

Anyways this is going to be a very important match for Valencia CF as they've only gotten 1 point in their last 3 league games, losing 2 matches and drawing one. Nuno will be looking to have the team win, as he knows how important these 3 points are, especially now that we are coming close to the end of the first half of the season and its important to finish on a high note.

Valencia CF Squad:
Goalkeepers: Alves, Yoel
Defenders: Barragan, Vezo, Mustafi, Otamendi, Gaya, Orban
Midfielders: Fuego, Gomes, Parejo, Felipe, Gil, Feghouli, Piatti, De Paul
Forwards: Negredo, Paco, Moreno

Technical Details Valencia CF (probable setups):
Formation: 4-3-3
Line-up: Diego; Barragan, Mustafi, Otamendi, Gaya; Fuego, Gomes, Parejo, Feghouli, Negredo, Moreno.
Tactics: Medium defensive line, own half pressure, mixed passing, deep laying defensive midfielder, counter attacks.

Match Result:
Granada 1-2 Valencia CF
I'd go for a Granada win prediction, it seems when I'm conservative or doubtful with my predictions the team wins, so I'll be doubtful once again after a poor performance against Rayo and say Granada will win 2 to 1.
