Dani Ramirez deal agreed

A while back, we reported that Valencia CF was interested in Barcelona B player Javi Espinosa on a free transfer, however the interest did not materialize into anything. Now Valencia CF turn their attention to a Real Madrid C midfielder, 22 year old Dani Ramirez also on a free transfer. With the team recently relegated, Dani Ramirez was not renewed and his contract expires this summer.

With the sale of the club still not finished, Rufete has lost patience and wants to start offloading players like Viera, Banega, Postiga, and Rami among others. The issue is that the interested clubs do not know who to negotiate with if they want to make a bid, Peter Lim, Rufete or the President. As such, Rufete has decided to sign Dani Ramirez and after agreeing a deal with him, he is expected to sign this week. As you may know, the preseason starts next week on Monday, and so far nothing major has been done barring the signings of Otamendi and Rodrigo de Paul. There are still many players to offload as well. Should Ramirez sign this week, he will be able to join the preseason with the team.

There are other signings planned by Rufete. One of them is a replacement for Keita. The players being looked at for that position are Inter Milan's 33 year old Cambiasso, who would come on a free transfer and Napoli's 28 year old Walter Gargano who has one year left on his contract. Finally, Valencia CF is raising their interest in Thorgan Hazard and is reportedly leading other interested teams for his signing.

What do you think of the prospective signings? Who should replace Keita, should it be Cambiasso or Gargano? Tell us in the comments below.
